  1. A second opinion saved my cat's life. The first vet (group) told me my cat had FIP and I should go home and prepare for the worst. No treatment or alternatives were offered. That was 2 months ago. My cat actually had an autoimmune disorder which is well controlled with oral medication.

Dr. Plotnick has not only always been perfectly eager to answer any questions my wife and I have had about our cats but will NEVER proceed with even the smallest procedure without mentioning it to us first with ample time to react, agree or decline. Where appropriate he has even mentioned price before asking if we were ok with it. I've been to a lot of vets over the years and this is rare. We're lucky to have him as our vet.
